Supine Twist

Suggested Duration: 15-30 seconds each side



The Supine Twist has two directions, open and crossed. The open position helps open up the hips. The crossed position is a great back extensor stretch.



Begin by wrapping the strap around the arch of your foot, and hold onto it with one hand. If the strap is on your right side, bring your leg over to that side, pulling it toward your head as your flexibility allows.

Once you’ve finished, cross your leg over your body—pulling your leg further up as your flexibility allows.
